I am going to Bali for the very first time in 11 days. When the idea of holidaying in Bali was first floated I was very apprehensive. I wasn't looking forward to going at all, but the rest of my family really wanted to visit Bali. It took stumbling onto to this forum that has completely changed my mind. Reading all the JBR's and the great advice has turned it around for me, now I am the one who is the most excited. When I heard the news the other night about the threats it didn't really bother me as I knew it had been said 6 months ago, and reading other people's replies on here and knowing that the opinion I had formed was also the same as theirs helped me alot. Believe me, I am the one who is the worry wart of the family, and whilst I am not overly concerned about the latest threats I will just make sure that while I am in Bali I am a bit more street wise and not do anything that is out of my comfort zone. I hope this helps you to make your decision, and I would also like to thank everyone on this forum for being so informative and friendly. I believe if I had never found this forum I would still be reluctant in going to Bali. Thank You! Cathy
