Thanks for your JBR! I am especially interested in anything related to the Padma because I am taking a group of girls from Canada there in May. There will be 14 of us and we are booked into the Garden Club Chalets. Any suggestions as to which room numbers we should ask for? I understand that there are 12 rooms per building so hopefully they can accommodate us in 1 building. If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
I noticed you mentioned that the Club Lounge had a lack of chairs. We thought there would be a few nights that we'd meet for Happy Hour there (or upstairs as I was told that there is a place to watch the sunset from upstairs from the lounge). Do you think we will have problems getting seats for all of us?
I think we'll try Bianco's one night for dinner as it's close to the hotel. I've never stayed at the Padma. I've been to Bali 16 times now but that area is abit new to me. I'm looking forward to hearing your comments on the Conrad...also would love to stay there sometime.
I guess that we are lucky because we get a pretty generous luggage allowance from Canada...44 kilos per piece and we get 2 pieces per person. We fly Cathay Pacific. I can't imagine how I'd deal with less weight as I am always still over even with 88 kilos just for me!!!
Did you try the spa at the Padma?
