last week i had to change return flight for my daughter with garuda.
discovered that if you book flight through agent you must change flight through agent and if you book through garuda you change through them!(that is if you are in australia)-was told this by gaurda. if you want to change flight while you are in indonesia you change direct with garuda office in indonesia .
i was advised the cost to do this (by this particular agent) would be $160 (this was waived for me by a lovely agent!)-other agents probably have different charges.
the agent advised that the flight my daughter now wants to return on in july is fully booked and she has been placed on a wait list! fingers crossed that she will get on!
