My husband is a size medium in Australian mens sizes, but when he goes to bali he likes to get good quality shorts from department stores and mens clothing shops and he fits into an xl size there (for shorts). So make sure that you try on any pants or shorts because they are not the same sizes!
Quite a few market stalls cater for the larger sizes and you can get xl and xxl from Diannes or Jenny's market stall's located across the road from Green Garden Hotel in Tuban. My husband just returned with 6 of his mates and they got a good supply from Diannes and Jenny's.
