If you want tranquility in the middle of a spice and timber forest, with just one warung for a drink, and a magical fall streaming down in a cascade which itself seems muted in the peace of the place, then go to Munduk. Munduk also has the benefit of decent toilets too.
If you go to Munduk you also get the benefit of the best coffee in all of Bali at Ngiring Ngewedang on the way from the falls to the divided lakes, Tamblingan and Buyan.
