However, Bintang prices have risen quite a bit over the last year, and it is not uncommon to pay 10 - 12K for small, and anywhere between 15 and 25K for large (More in clubs etc)
Most places have a "Happy hour", some more happy than others, and this will see price reduced between say 4pm and 6pm etc etc.
If you buy at the cheaper warungs and rumah makans, prices are about the same as you pay by the bottle or case at the larger supermarkets.
I am sure the price will not deter you from having the odd one or two!!
