Gilly Trawangan is the best place on earth. Cheap accomodation, nice bbq's every night at 6 p.m., friendly people, parties 3 times per week. It can be a quiet place if you chose it to be or you can make it a busy place. You dn;t get people hassling you like Bali but still a fair bit of drug use and mushrooms. Hint do not eat at that cafe which has a bar out the front and is open till late (not the irish one but not far away from the irish place). Barman let me go ion there to cook and there were cats, butter open on the table black walls and rusty fridge.
