I have just booked for October school holidays and Melasti is completely booked out. We have booked 2 rooms at Puri Raja instead but am quite excited as it looks lovely and have read many good reports now its all renovated. We are a surfing family too. My husband and two sons all want to be on the beach so this was a great cheap option. I like the idea of a smaller hotel. I have stayed at the Jayakarta which is nice but a little too big if the kids want to meet others around the pool etc. Good luck and book fast!!
