Ahhhh what the tourists dont see, wont hurt them I guess.
Im sure strippers and porno movies and call girls are in bali. Of course they are. Just well hidden from the tourists who dont realise they do exsist.
Especially in Jakarta, as an expat I often hear the guys at work (10 guys two female expats at my office) talking about the women dancing on bars at night clubs wearing very little, talking about the latest who was with who so to speak .. (thats their life...i dont care..I just listen to the dribble that comes out of their mouths)
As for the playboy magazines..my friends wife (an indo singer) was in the 2nd edition, and she was taken to court. Has never been fined or anything, all hype over nothing. Nothing has happened since, and that was about a year ago now.
So the sex industry is very much alive and well in Indonesia, it might be illegal but it sure is there!
