I think you would surprised that there alot more fresh water running streams than you think, I know there is one in Tabanan (Kaba Kaba)that the locals from the area all come to get there water from. There is several on the way up to Negara, Singaraja & Ubud. I think they know the difference between fresh stream water & the run off from the villages, even that water would make the locals sick.
