once you make that first sms or call to Australia all your friends can just reply to that or keep it locked in so they have your number. You can keep your sim card for the next trip if it gets topped up a few times in between trips. Not sure of the exact times. You can do this by leaving it in Bali with a trusted friend or just leave them the number like I do, they keep it topped up every so often for me. Or when you get back here pass it on to someone going for their use. They are so cheap that throwing it away or leaving the remainder for someone in Bali it doesn't really matter.
