I would take one if you will be doing a bit of walking when shopping and going out for dinner etc. That way the kids can have a sleep whilst you shop, it used to work for me. I took a fairly sturdy pram with bigger wheels as the roads and gutters can be a bit hairy at times.
I then gave the pram to one of the balinese ladies down at the beach infront of our hotel for her kids. You could always buy a 2nd hand one at a garage sale just for holidays and leave it behind.
