After 20 odd times to Bali trying everything from TC to Cash changing money to arrive with all l ever do now is bring a ATM card with either a extra card for same account or one to another account in case you lose it . ATM,S are everywhere and comparing exchange rates even with your banks fees for the transactions it is all most the same as on the street and much better than hotels. You can even do it in the airport in Bali before leaving the arrivals hall for money for taxi. The rates at ATM,S are all the same and it is safe and no hassels, as you get from some dubious operators. Have done this for last 5 years never had a problem.
