I stayed at the Komaneka in Dec and loved it, i was lucky and got upgraded to a pool villa so that alone made it a great place to stay. Room was lovely with a huge bathroom, nice veranda area, pool overlooking the rice fields. Every night when the beds were turned down they left pjamas and a bedtime storey - very nice. They have a nice spa and the main pool is very nice. Staff were wonderful and the location is fantatsic.
You should also look at the Kajane as this looks very nice and again is located in Monkey Forest road.
