Yet another sad story about someone getting ripped off with their card We have been travelling now for years and years may seem old fashioned but we only ever take travellers cheques and now they are free at the post office only need a few days for them to get them for you. We also get a couple of hundred dollars worth of the currency of the country we are going to this we also get from the post office We NEVER take any cards with us and we have managed fine always bring some travellers cheques back with us which we save for our next trip we always get Aussie Dollars And if something did go wrong and they were lost or stolen you can get them back every cent. We have travelled all over the world and never once had a problem changeing them This is my opinion and I think now with all the problems with cards travellers cheques are the only way to go.
