Smile, get in early and when they tell you your over and hand back your passport slip 1000,000 for 10kgs or maybe 200,000 for 20 kgs or more, but you have to be early, also Garuda are trying to off load the lunchtime trip back to Perth onto the midnight horror, they are prepared to give you hotel accom, taxi fares and $60.00 US to fly out on the late flight cause they have overbooked, so get to the airport early, fly out on time and save on excess.
Too bloody easy, remember "I have to go to work tomorrow" it works for some.
