take cash, change your money over there at Kodak money changers or the banks. Take a credit card for emergencies. Take your atm card for emergencies that aren't really emergencies you just want more spending money. Pay your Visa on Arrival in Australian cash, check the rate before you go and then you'll get some rupiahs in change...unless they give you Aus change which does happen sometimes. Place your money in the hotel safe or safety deposit boxes, only change what you need each day. You will see money changers everywhere but be wary of the higher rates advertised, they will usually being getting the better of you somewhere along the line. Count your cash at the money changers/banks whilst still in front of the person serving you, count it again if your not sure, make sure it is right before walking away. Do a search on here for info of your nearest honest money changer to your hotel.
