I just had a quick look at the Jetstar site and there are no problems with seats ex Sydney - so I am assuming you are looking ex Melbourne.
There are seats available on all three days you mentioned either direct or via Sydney for approx $399 plus taxes.
When you type in the 29th January it does come up with a messsage sorry there are no flights/seats available on this day but you can click on the day either side which do have seats.
