Yes last Season it was raining, just loved it, and very busy in the streets...but we don't have to go further than we were....Lots to do where you stay.
Great to see the Balinese all dressed up with Santa hats etc but it's Christmas every day in Bali.
If we had a choice we would probably go at March, when we used to, as dearer at that time to book accomodation and air. If you want/need to go at Christmas then you will certainly have a great time but a little more expensive. Ask away....
