How to change AUS$2000 quickly

Does anyone know what the limit is for withdrawing money from ATMs. I and a friend each need to get AUS$1000 in Rupiah within a few hours of arrival in Bali as there are few (and expensive) options for changing money at our destination.

Could try a moneychanger, but would expect problems with that amount
