Hi Cheryl!

These cards are great - I have used them in Asia three times now, but not in Bali yet. I've never had any problems with them. You load the account up with your money, either online via bPay or by depositing at a Travellex, and withdraw cash from any ATM with a VISA symbol. You need a PIN to withdraw cash (PIN can be changed online to something you're more likely to remember). You get two cards for the one account (if you change your PIN online, you need to do it for both cards!!). If a card is stolen, the thief can't use it without the PIN. There is another type of Cash Passport Card that can act like a credit card, too, but I just get the normal one that is debit only.

The only issue that there are fees associated with withdrawing cash, something like AUD$4, so I withdraw large sums at a time.
