Sunday off to Nusa Dua for water sports. What a great day. lots of fun. The kids did everything and loved the jetski the best. We did snorkelling and Turtle island as well. Back to hotel and down to Wayan rama place to have lunch and to watch the NRL on the big screen. We are all Tigers fans so were not disappointed by our win over the Dragons. What a strange feeling, sitting in downtown legian watching NRL... Unfortuntaly our eldest daughter in Aus. texted the results to hubby just as we sat down, oh dear, but he kept a straight face and did not let us know. Tonight went to eat street at Seminyak for dinner to a restaurant called Lotus Grill, it was really nice. Then we did a bit of a walk and then went to Cafe Bali for dessert where I met my new best friend, a dessert called Moulinoux Chocolate Divine, Oh my God, how yummy. I thought I had died and gone to heaven, sorry I didn't get the twin portion thought. I am sure others have had this or something similar, I have to go back to Bali just for that.
Monday.... last day. Spent some time around the pool then went to Legian Pub for lunch. Ellie went to have her hair extensions done at a nice salon in JL Padma. They were very good to her and did a good job. Back to hotel for more swimming out to Blue Ocean for dinner and then off to the airport. I hate this bit. Hate leaving Bali. booked on Jetstar flight due to leave at 10.10. it was delayed by about an hour due to QANTAS baggage handlers strike in Sydney and medical situation. A poor girl slipped and sprained her foot and toes as she was getting into her taxi to come to the airport so had to be helped. She was in a lot of pain, poor thing. Hope she is ok now.
Anyway that's it for another year. Bali blues have set in today big time, but have already made some planse for next trip. We had the best time and so loved our 3rd trip to Bali. We were pleased to see the Jayakarta practically full.
Met lots of nice people, even a few from the Central Coast like us, and also from Melbourne and Albury.
Bought heaps of stuff from the Jayakarta beach sellers namely Bob (watches) Robert (sunglasses) and Wendy (beads and stuff)
That's it until next time.
