Over the years I have been travelling to Bali ex Melbourne on Qantas, Garuda, Merpati and ex Perth with Australian Airlines.
Luckily for us Melburnians we still have a choice of either Garuda leaving Fri/Sun or Jetstar tues/Sat.
Jetstar flights work for me as I can work on Sat,catch flight at 1845 and still arrive that night. Last Feb07, May07, Oct07, Feb08 I have flown Jetstar and only once forward flight 45mins late, luckily for me as I had arrived late (silly me drove 30 mins from home and remembered my tablets were still in the fridge)
I nearly missed out on getting on that flight but the Jetstar Customer Service Manager kindly allowed me on even after the check-in closed.
Each time I have flown Jetstar the fares have been very cheap or reasonable and work out much cheaper than a package on Garuda.
I have found the service quite good,airline food tastes all the same to me anyway, movie is always free and really what else do I need on such a short flight.
So once again I have chosen to fly Jetstar in June 08 and give them another chance to prove that they are OK by me!
