it is definitely worht the extra for a poolside room, and yes 241, at the end of the pool, would be good for people watching. It is great to walk out your door and be at the pool rather than take the lift. Streetside, deluxe etc, is not really recommended because of the noise from the bar at the Kuta paradiso. I don't really think you could people watch from your balcony. poolside is a better view. I am at the Ramayana now but can't answer any more questions as I will not be on the net again until I get home.
