We have stayed at the Dynasty once and Rani twice. They are two completely different styles of hotels.
If you love what the Dynasty offers then I doubt that you would enjoy the Rani.
I must admit that I wouldnt stay at the Dynasty again, much prefer Rani. We enjoyed Kumala Pantai more than any of the others though!
Heres our views on the both of them, hope it helps.
Remember that what suits one family may not suit another!!
I travel with one son who is now 12yrs old.
Dynasty was just too loud for us, Rani is much smaller and quieter, not a real drink around the bar type of place.
Pool at Dynasty much larger but has many more swimmers in it,so is much more social.
If Rani has offerd you Deluxe Rooms you should email them and request a ground floor room, then you are a hop skip and jump from the pool and as already mentioned you can enjoy your duty free drinks.
Pool chair hogs in both places.
More of the older crowd at Rani and this can be a problem if your kids are roudy and splash around in the pool.They are highly likely to get told of by at least one misery guts!
We didnt like the squashed in like sardine, hectic breakfast at Dynasty.
Rani breakfast out by the pool and much more leasurely.
Rani is in a better location I feel.
Handy to dash across the road to Discovery or to small supermarket for supplies.
Although there is no room safe at Rani, you can quickly access the Main safe in Reception at any time.
I am positive that our room safe at the Dynasty had been opened by someone whilst we were there, so they are not that safe anyway.
The staff at Rani were alot more friendly and obliging.
