We have been to bali 6 times and Phuket 4 we went to Phuket after the first bombing. Both my husband and myself love it over in thailand the beaches and the people are special and like bali. From when we first went to Phuket we have notice changes the prices of accomadation have gone up and since the tsunami the food has also gone up the taxis or tuks are not as cheap as Bali and they also have the ever persistant nepalise tailor that I find most offensive because they just dont want to take no for answer that is the only downer that I have found some of them can become really rude. but the thais are beautiful. I would say go and see for yourself. you wont be dissappointed. They also have great Jewellery over there really cheap. We wentback for the first time to Bali last year and I love the place so guess what we are going to go back for 2mths this year and I cant wait. Last year was the first year going to Bali that my husband never got the belly so I was extremely grateful.
