Pamina, we have been staying at the melasti for the last 6 years as a family with 2 girls now aged 9 and 11. We can comfortably fit in a suite cottage as these are very spacious for a hotel room and the beds are partitioned off for privacy.
there are no set activities, but my kids tend to hook up with others around the pool. there is a playground area which they use sometimes, a bar area at the opposite end of the beach which plays music videos and kids can hang out and play pool there. there is also table tennis and a small tennis court (we have never played though as it is too hot)
You can get a taxi to Sanur but you could also hire a driver to take you there and then hang around to take you home. We went by taxi probably 3 years ago and i think it cost us around 120,000 rup one way but this has probably increased since then.
