I have been to Phuket once and Bali six times. While we enjoyed Phuket as a once off its not somewhere we would go again in a hurry. Similar but so different and I still believe that it is the Balinese that make the difference. Having been to several Asian destinations over the past 6 years we still come back to Bali.Can't really explain it other than to say we just feel comfortable in Bali.
