I would definately do luxury last. Many years ago we always went luxury now its just basic as we don't spend much time in hotel and when we do its at the pool and drinking so we go cheap. Would not recommend Melasti as had lots of trouble getting around pool. We are staying at The Losari just off the beach quite cheap but fabulous staff not big in the grounds department but food and drinks are good prices to sit around the pool. The Lokha is also quite nice but same not alot of ground. Also try Puri Raja in Standard rooms it has everything you have mentioned. We will be at Losari for a month in June/July with 3 beer lovin males and 3 kids 3,4,7.
