If you go to Mr Dolphins shop and then go to Buddys shop you will see what we mean. Buddy is so nice to talk to and he is a great artist. He told us that he is actually a painter, but wasnt making enough to support his family so he diversified into tattooing.

When we went into Mr Dolphins they wanted to charge 1,000,00 rupiah for one fairly small frangipani tattoo on my daughter and she said that she didnt "feel comfortable" in their shop. We went down to Buddy's shop and he free hand drew exactly what she wanted and charged only 650,000 rupiah (and it was about 4 times the size of the tattoo that Mr Dolphin wanted to do!) My husband has had several tattoos done in Bali over the years (including one on his chest by Mr Dolphin) but he says he will not go anywhere else than to Buddy's now.
