Hi Sury, Actually I know of an Indonesian fine artist who has just come to Australia and is living in Warrandtye, Melbourne. His studio was originally in Istana Kuta Galleria and then he moved back and opened one in Malang, Java.
I have seen his work many times at exhibitions in Bali and also portraits done from photos and sittings. It would save you having to bring home and also help him here in Australia. I will come clean here, he is marrying my daughter in April and they are starting a life together here after she lived there for 13 months and after 12 months of visa applications and interviews etc , and being engaged for two years, it is finally happening.
