I've made bookings with no problems whatsoever. However, I understand that if you want to cancel it takes a while for your money to appear back in your account. I also understand that if you want to change to another hotel you do a completely separate booking, ie make a new booking and then cancel the original one - no transferring - so there again you have to wait for the refund of the original. Perhaps someone can dispute this or explain their experience.
