This is my pre JBR. Our ( the POMS No 1 beloved & ours too) big beautiful flat coated retriever came home from the Vets last night after 3 gruelling weeks recovering
( actually fighting for her life) from a King Brown snake bite at home.
Today brought another chapter in our "Sadies" doggie life when I went to do do the washing downstairs and found her near collapsed in the swimming pool - lucky chin held on edge of pool.
I gather she stumbled about to do doggie business and fell in (?). still not good on her legs.
So theres me screaming to the world for help. Not able to do a thing due to my back injury - in the end my near 7 mth expecting D.I.L. and step daughter came to the rescue. We got her out.. she is okay. I wasnt. Wheres an Arak or Binnie when needed ?
No wonder the neighbours didnt come to rescue out mud crabbing.. sooo Ive been doing mud crabs this arvo after offers passed over the fence.
Normally yum but Im going to have a beer and unwind and dream of what nice things tomorrow will bring in Bali.
