hi, we brought back 2 unbrellas last time. we had to get the pole sawed in half, we then packed the top in our suitcase and carried on the poles as hand luggage which were taped together. we never had any problems bringing them in. if you are in WA contact me and i can let you know where to buy all that stuff here which might be a bit more expensive but easier for you. cheers
