Sorry to hear that your trip was not so good. I have just come back from my 11th trip to bali and enjoyed it as much as ever, however I did a trip to India in September last year which was an absolute nightmare. Now before I get flamed I know heaps of people go to India and love it, in fact I have a friend who has been 11 times and another 8 times and both said that after I'd been to India I would never want to go to Bali again....WRONG!!!! All I can say is in my opinion and this is only my opinion I appreciate that we are all different but India was a horrible place. Dirty, crowded, expensive, people rude, rubbish everywhere, felt very unsafe the whole time and could not relax, my hair fell out from all the stress and was glad to get out of there and will never go back there again. Having said all this, I have been to Bali 11 times and love the place but know people who go there and hate it so I guess we are all different and thats what makes the world so exciting and interesting.
