we stayed there dec/jan this year. the hotel was very clean, rooms nice. we stayed in superior ocean view which is on the third floor of the hotel. The ocean view is not what i expected. You can see the ocean but your looking over half the hotel and restaurant etc. I wouldnt bother with the seaview room again for the price. I loved the locationof the hotel , staff were friendly, restaurant was very nice but not a great choice really only italian food to choose from. I would go somewhere else next time only because of the price...i paid $80 aus a night for the sup ocean view room and usually my budget is $25 at the Barong but at christmas/new year it was all booked out so though we'd try somewhere else. But the location was fantastic sitting in the restaurant having lunch watching everyone on the beach etc.
