we found food prices at the Dynasty to be very reasonable; especially the breakfast voucher deal. Room service too is not expensive.
One thing I did like was that all prices quoted on the menus were inclusive of taxes - all upfront - no surprises.
Don't worry, plenty of activity around the pool for your active son and the happy hour in the afternoon is a very social time for all.
