Yes mum and i stayed for 5 nights at the Mandira in July last year.
I personnally couldnt wait to get out of the place and up to the Casa. I thought the rooms were very small and when we went up to the club lounge the lady was quite rude to us. Heaps of other people just love the place. Nothing wrong with the breaky. When we stayed at the Padma the year before we thought it was very nice. Very big!
But i would stay at the Padma again. There club benefits are great.
May have to catch you in October as my Mum will be due for a trip by then!! I actually had a look at the Suriwathi i think thats how you spell it. The rooms are very basic but the price was good. Think from memory they quoted 250,000 rup for there deluxe. It would be classed as budget. But its in a good spot in Garlic lane and it has like 2 ground rooms together. Grassed area at the front of each block of 2. Pool area but not grass near it. Maybe some of them have interconnecting doors which would be ideal for kids. Thats if one of the rooms had twin beds. No comparrison to the Padma.
