I didn't notice that one of my ties was cut - still hanging there through the zipper holes when I got to the hotel. It was the late Jetstar flight which was also 1 hour late so it was 1 or 2ish am our time - guess I was too tired and flustered at the airport- bit scary that I didn't even notice. my bags are so bl--dy full going both ways they wouldn't be able to put another thing in any of them. I also pack all my stuff in those heavy duty garden bags so when you open you can't just reach in and take anything.
