The 2 times we've stayed at Garden View the guests seemed to be mainly middle-aged or families. GVC charges a single supplement. They won't drop their prices by much as the hotel is often included in package deals & is usually quite full. We dislike the place - plenty of others love it - to each his/her own. You'll do much better for cheap accommodation with younger people in Kuta around Poppies 1 & 2.
