We have travelled extensively with our now 10, 7 and 2 year old since our first was 11 months. We have been to bali 6 times since then. We love it with the kids its the best destination.
We take nappies, formula, sunscreen, mossie net for cot and pram, long sleeved cotton grows for the bubs at night, snacks they are familiar with and mossie coil multiple packs to burn at front door and balcony each night.
We soray the room each night with mossie spray when we go out for tea and have never had a problem with the kids being bitten (more issues here in aus at xmas time with our 7 yo who got eaten alive on holidays).
If the bub fits into a pouch that is handy also for using in the cars as they dont have car seats.
Our kids have never had bali belly and they eat the same food as us. Take antibacterial hand wash and also heaps of baby wipes as you can use them to wash bubs hands all the time. You can also get somesticky mossie deterrant things to put on the pram and around the cot at night in the balinese pharmacys.
Have a great time and enjoy how much the balinese dote after your little one. In any case of emergency the BIMC has been great for us and really looked after our youngest well on our last trip. Remember the travel insurance so important as the bills are alot bigger than just getting insurance.
Have a great holiday.
