Also for a close money changer when you exit the Bali Garden Hotel go to your left and there is a little tours booking stall that also change money. It will be the first stall that you come to, to the left of Bali Garden (street front). I have used them many times and they have always been honest and offer the same rates as Kodak money changers. If you don't mind a stroll you can also go to the Kodak money changer next to the Dynasty hotel. In the kodak you get reciepts.
