your $2.00 coins to make bracelets BUT they won't be making bracelets out of your coins. They will ask for Rupiahs as well. The bracelet gets made and you are happy but the coins will not be in that bracelet. The coins are collected up and someone wraps them into $50.00 and $100.00 rolls then an airport employee will try to sell them back to an Aussie for a $50.00 or $100.00 note so that they can get that changed into Rupiah.
A few jewellery shops will be able to fix your ring also. Mayang Jewellery is the large jewellery shop near McDonalds in Kuta, also a jewellery shop in the Kuta Paradiso Hotel and the Bali Rani Hotel. Will be cheaper than Australia. Don't know if they will replace the diamond with a diamond unless you have the original to be put back in.
