The Family rooms are normaly located at the front of the hotel, the Delux rooms are over looking the garden and pools. This might be why they are a little more.
If you was you I would look at booking to Stardard rooms with connecting door, It cost a little more than a family room but well worth the extra.
this way you get a mum and dads room and 2 bath rooms, but can walk through and check on the kids when required. But still have your own space
