Hi Deb we have walked past a few times as it is just by the GVC where we stay. There have been quite a few posts on it late last year, this is a few I found on the archives.

Have stayed there for over ten years. Yes some rooms are renovated. If there is only two of you and you want airconditioning ask for upstairs overlooking the pool. Number 21 and 22 are nice also as they are bigger two storey but only fan cooled. The private villa is great it runs about $45.00 it has two stories plenty of light really nice. When you book ask for Tantra he has been there forever and is really helpfull.

We stayed at 3 brothers in March this year. We loved it and the location. There are good and bad rooms as far as I can gather. We had a nice room with an outdoor bathroom. The pool area is only small, but has a nice grassed area to lounge around. The property is quite big and spaced out. The rooms are traditional and quite dark.
Depends what you are looking for i suppose.

Certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone
We found them over the internet- checked out their website and made a booking with them.
We arrived in Bali in the mid day heat to find a run-down, over priced hotel.
We had wanted the family room and I had told them we had a 2.5yr old, asked many times if the rooms were suitable and were told they were. They most def are NOT.
The photos on the website are mis-leading and the hotel is worth just giving a miss.
The staff would also not let us call a taxi when we politely told them it wasn't suitable and that we would have to find somehwere else so we had to drag luggage for 6 people to the Garden view Next door (which , by the way, is lovely)
