when and where are you travelling from? It sounds quite expensive but maybe you are travelling in school holidays.
Have you thought about arranging your own flights and accommodation.
We too stay at the dynasty and I have found that it is considerably cheaper for us to arrange our own airfares through either the zuji, bestflights or qantas websites and then book the accommodation through smartstays or agoda (or similar websites) We have just booked a poolview room through smart tays for US$62 per night - the deluxe and superior are about US$52 each with brecky. That rate is for easter so again depends on your dates.
I haven't stayed or heard of anywhere that has the same atmosphere as the dynasty around the pool for families - but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We go 2 times per year and the dynasty seems to get more and more expensive each trip.
