about 12 years ago to be exact, but seems like yesterday! We had rooms right at the top next to the pool, was a workout for the legs but so worth it. The rooms were large with open air bathrooms but with wire over the top to keep the monkeys out. The monkeys go across the hills in the afternoons and apparently might visit if the wire wasn't there. The pool was great, the view fantastic. Back then we received a complimentary plate of snacks every afternoon, fruit, Balinese sweets etc.
