i normally visit Hope Childrens Home / Seeds of Hope orphanange atleast once a year and have become attached to the amazing kids there. I had originally , a few years ago when i started going, planned to visit a few, but after going to the first one i ended up spending the entire day there and have been back many times since - i find it difficult not to see these kids when i am there. There are so many orphananges in Bali, and some are in need more that others. From what I have been told by the staff at Hope, they do actually get quite a lot of donations and regular visitors and have the best facilities of any orphanange in Bali (of course these circumstances are still less than desirable) . This is becasue it is generally the closest orphanange to legian / kuta. what i am saying is, if you have never been to an orphanange in Bali before, I really encourage you to go to one a little further away, one which does not receive as many visitors, and consequently very little in the way of donations. If you like I can help you find one and organise what they need in particular. I have done this for a few people before. If you want to contact me my email is s4096327@student.uq.edu.au and i would be more than happy to look into it more and help you find one which is in desperate need and also suits you.
