bought quantities of umbal umbals. Its essentially a strip of supplier/wholesalers....some normal retail outlets as well. I didn't look for clothes, so I can't say what was available, but there were plenty of craft and stone ware outlets.
I took a motorbike from Tegal Sari and it takes around 10-15mins to get there. Cheers
