in answer to a question, that they will NOT be giving any rebates for dental and/or optical work done abroad after 1st April this year, no matter if you are an OLD member or a new member.
They said that all Australian health insurance companies are following suit and will also NOT be giving rebates.
(I got the impression they want us all to take out Traveller's Insurance from them - yes, more money for them!)
